Plato's Restaurant - ASPEN

Plato's at the Aspen Meadows Resort is a must-visit restaurant in Aspen. With superior service, inventive dishes, and a spectacular view, it was the highlight of our five-day vacation. While it may not be within walking distance of the city center, we highly recommend making reservations and arranging transportation to experience this gem. The staff was welcoming and efficient, helping us secure a table with a great view that was shielded from the sun. The modern design, contemporary music, and friendly atmosphere added to the overall experience. The menu, although on the smaller side, featured delicious dishes made with local ingredients. We sampled items from both the All Day and Seasonal menus, and were impressed by the presentation, flavors, and creativity. The bar drinks were unique and tasty, although the bar could get busy at times. Prices were higher, but reflective of the Aspen area and worth the cost for the quality received. Overall, I highly recommend Plato's as the best restaurant in Aspen.

Amazing food! Went here for my birthday dinner, they brought out 2 appetizers for us. I love how they used locally sourced food. The Elk was perfect, maybe it was the way it was sliced thinly, but it didn't taste too gamey. Bone marrow was to die for, like always, came with a sweet peach chutney. The beet gazpacho was personally one of my favorite dishes. It was mouth watering and the (what I believe was cucumber) added a refreshing spin. I wasn't crazy about the caviar, however my husband thought they were perfect. I felt the potatoes and cream took over the dish. We definitely would recommend this spot for anyone celebrating an occasion or looking for a great meal. Plus the view is wonderful!

We went here for a prix fixe thanksgiving dinner and it was easily one of the best thanksgiving meals I’ve had. The food was exactly what you want for Turkey Day and the meal plus dessert was $28. That’s right. Twenty. Eight. Dollars. In Aspen. The value for money was sky high, and of course there is the view. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains throughout the restaurant. This is easily my favorite experience in Aspen thus far.

The simulated igloo was an incredible experience. What made it truly special was our server, Patrick, who was absolutely amazing! He was extremely accommodating, laid-back, and had a great energy. Despite our large party and numerous requests, Patrick made us feel like we were truly valued and deserving of a fantastic dining experience. He was the standout reason for our positive review.
