Ellina - ASPEN

I wasn't there to experience the dine in experience because I chose to stay to workout at the hotel. It might have been a mistake based on how good the leftovers pasta i tried was. (And I even ate it cold because I was lazy and it was amazing! Skip the workout to get some food Italian food

Most Incredible dinner and wine at this beautiful restaurant in the heart of Aspen. Owner is extremely knowledgeable about wines and has a collection to be envied. If you go, must try the artichoke truffle app, truly one of the best things I’ve eaten in my life. 10/10 recommend .

We had a subpar dining experience at Ellina. The service was really not what you would expect from a quality restaurant. We have dined at Ellina in the past and the service has been much better. The restaurant was not that full, so I have no idea why the service was so bad. Food was good but appetizers are way overpriced with small portions. Main courses were good, and portions were appropriate. Disappointed that we had this poor experience at Ellina. I guess for now we will take it off our list of go to restaurants in Aspen.

The staff is very welcoming and professional. But I was disappointed by the burrata dish, which is served either for 2 or 4 people, because it came with only one, tiny burrata. The polenta in the marinara sauce and black pepper fettuccine were standard tasting. We also tried the birria and pork belly tacos, but they were not exceptional.
