Louie's Of Ashland

I took my son to experience some of the best wings in the valley, while I opted for a healthier choice. My Thai chicken canoes were incredibly delicious! This restaurant deserves support as it offers five-star service along with a truly unique menu. We stopped by for lunch without any prior experience and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered from the bowl/wrap menu, specifically the Caesar salad with chicken. The grilled chicken was tasty, and I really liked the brown rice as well! We also ordered the hummus plate, which had a wonderful texture and came with very fresh vegetables. Next, we all shared the hot wings, which had a fantastic crunch and just the right amount of spice. And finally, the highlight of our meal was the hot chocolate—rich and velvety smooth. Treat yourself and give it a try!

This is a fantastic dining experience by the creek. The service was prompt and friendly; we waited only 5-10 minutes for a table and received our food about 10 minutes after ordering. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were refreshing and delicious. While the appetizer portions could have been a bit larger, overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy a meal on a summer day.

I tried the blackberry barbecued ribs, but I don’t think I would order them again. They were just average. I bet there are better options on the menu. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. I’d definitely consider coming back to try something else. This was my first time visiting.

My fiancé and I moved to Ashland between December 2022 and February 2023. In that time we have gotten to know Louis and have enjoyed every single visit. Not only is the staff attentive, they are also very courteous, friendly and hard working. We are boring and mostly stick to what we love the most...hot wings and Long Islands. However, we have had other foods and beverages and all have been incredible. It is such an amazing restaurant to visit and even more magical when you can sit outside. You can enjoy the sound of the water and fresh air. Inside is lovely as well. If in the area we do recommend visiting Louis and the area in general. Thank you Louis for the warm welcome and for being a consistent hot spot for us!! PS we have had take out and Dine in! All great!

The food here is fantastic. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options alongside pescitarian and meat dishes. They also have a dog menu which our two pups loved. The wait time around 4:30pm on a Saturday was long enough to get a drink next door at Oberon's but not long enough to wait in a long line for the drink. The staff then calls your cellphone and you have 5 minutes or so to get to the host. Worked well for us. She had the black bean veggie burger (4/5) and I had the BLT (5/5) with the Black Bean Chilli (4/5). The truffle fries are not too strong which can be nice. For strong smelling truffle fries pop over to Skout's at the end of the creek walk.
