Burger Barn - Ashland

The restaurant is not only beautiful and impeccably clean, but the staff is also fantastic—very friendly and welcoming. The food is outstanding; the cheese curds were absolutely delicious. We tried both types of burgers and loved every bite. The service was quick, and the prices were fair. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I can't wait to return!

It’s a lovely spot with a friendly staff and a laid-back, relaxing vibe. The cheese curds were a clever idea, but serving them in a cone created a greasy mess at the bottom; a simple basket would have worked much better. The fries were good, but the chicken patty in the sandwich tasted cheap and processed. If they had used a real chicken breast, this place would be a five-star gem. With just a bit more focus on quality, The Burger Barn could truly shine!

Get ready for a pleasant surprise! The exterior might mislead you, but the inside is quirky and inviting. I tried the BLT, and it was a fantastic sandwich. The burger wrap was also delicious! Our waitress was incredibly friendly. We were able to switch tables once we discovered we could see the lake from the back of the restaurant. They even gave us a free refill on the strawberry lemonade, which was absolutely delicious!

We drove from Bayfield to Burger Barn and found the 16-mile ride to Ashton for a family of seven. The prices are less than the restaurants in Bayfield and the whole food was delicious from the burgers, BLT, salads, to the chicken slaughter. Recommend this restaurant for families.

There is not many choices for food in small towns in northern Wisconsin. The Burger Barn was a great choice! Their loaded cheese curds with fries, onion rings, pulled pork bbq sauce was amazing. Burgers were solid as well. I’ll likely never get back here but I am glad I stopped tonight.
