The French Connection - Ashford

Friendly staff, but as they said themselves they were understaffed. The drinks were fine (though the wine was pretty average) but the food was very poor. The nachos were tasteless with a strange cheese style product on them and no guacamole. The haddock was overdone and yet still sloppy inside, and the chips that came with the burger (which was passable) were cold. The server said that they had a new chef on that night hope he/she learns quickly, or moves on…

A visit to this restaurant is very much as expected. The food selection was plentiful. We had the continental breakfast and were very satisfied. Staff very friendly

We were on a meal deal with premier inn.We had dinner and breakfast for two days .The dinners were OK but the breakfasts were not up to standard .Fruit was not to an acceptable standard and the cooked was not very hot .The interior needs completely revamping it has threadbare furniture and is in serious need of an upgrade .Not the best place we have eaten at staying with premier inn.Not a good experience

Food is good and always quick service Kerry Ann is a great asset to the team always has a smile and always friendly. Hotel is always clean as is the French connection

We would love to thank Sandra and her team for accommodating is at short notice. And love to thank our waitress Caitlin. Great meal with the family, Our disabled children loved the atmosphere and food. great value for money, food was lovely, kids meals were amazing. Had activity sheets to keep children amused whilst food was being prepared.
