We've eaten lunch at Pomodoros many times. There are a few menu favorites we return to: their Classic Italian sandwich and gyro are very good, as is the spicy salmon wrap. This time my husband returned to the gyro. He needed to request extra tzaziki sauce, and then it lived up to expectations. I branched out and had the burger sliders, which were delicious. The server had said their kitchen couldn't cook the burgers medium rare, as they don't grind their own beef. But when they came, they were pink inside, very juicy and flavorful. The addition of pancetta and provolone ensured an Italian flair that was delightful. Service was good, if a little slow. The server didn't understand how Open Table works, and our reservation was cancelled while we were sitting there. It took several days to get that straightened out and our points properly credited, but it's fine now
Every time we eat here, my husband says I always forget how great the food is here. A neighborhood gem is right. We always try something different. Their grilled romaine salad is probably my favorite
My spaghetti Bolognese was outstanding! My husband loved the seafood in his Pasta Athena but found the pasta sauce to be rather bland. Perhaps some garlic would help. Otherwise we enjoyed a very quiet and satisfying dinner at Pomodoro's
Good ambiance, varied menu with both Italian and Greek specialties. Presentation of each dish showed a lot of care. A thin piece of salmon was overcooked, lamb chops came rare, medium and well done. The order was for rare. All other dishes were quite tasty and enjoyable. No vegan options are available on the menu, but the kitchen prepared a veggie and pasta dish that was lovely. The setting is quite comfortable and we will return to taste more of the dishes on the menu
