Outstanding pastries! If you?re a foodie like me you can certainly appreciate the obvious excellence in technical skill displayed in every morsel. Even my parents, who think Costo croissants are great, bit into their OWL croissants and immediatelynoted the multitude of crispy, flaky layers that were simultaneously tender in the middle. I love the Portuguese tarts?not toosweet but rich and creamy. I?ve gotten the everything danish a couple times, and it?s like a decadent everything bagel, it?s sounusual yet so delicious. I also love a good mocha or hot chocolate with my pastries, and they make good ones, nice andchocolatey. If you owe yourself an excellent pastry you need to hit OWL!

I enjoyed some fresh, warm porridge bread and a lemon tart! The bread was definitely the highlight of the experience. It was packed with flaxseed (the first photo doesn’t do it justice, but believe me) and sunflower seeds, making it fluffy yet hearty, with a buttery flavor. I really wish I lived closer because I can’t imagine going back to regular bread after this! It’s hands down one of the best breads I’ve ever had. The tart was quite good as well and had a nice balance of flavors.

Joe was a beautiful man and fantastic host. The pastries are at a National level of excellence. The coffee was just as good. Ambiance was out side only with a walk up window, but it worked perfectly. Not sure about the parking, seemed tough but we wereable to pull right up to the loading zone. 5 star cafe!!!

The baked goods seem to be freshly made in the morning, which is a plus. However, I wish they offered more fruit-based pastries. Overall, I felt a bit let down, primarily because I had heard such rave reviews about the flavors, but it turned out to be just an average small bakery. It's worth mentioning that I'm usually not a fan of savory baked goods, so I can't comment on that aspect. The prices are on the higher side, but they source many local ingredients and strive to provide fair wages, which is commendable. I recommend giving it a try for yourself, as the quality is solid, but don’t go in expecting a mind-blowing experience.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and I even picked up a tote bag! Here’s what we had: the Morning Bun, which is a must-try; the Sweet Danish with strawberry, which was fantastic; the Ham and Cheese Croissant—absolutely yummy; and the Lemon Tart, which was beautiful! We also enjoyed a Pastelito, the perfect combination of guava paste and cream cheese. We couldn’t resist adding a piece of quiche, which was filled with spring onions and incredibly tasty. I highly recommend visiting this bakery! My partner had a coffee with cream and their homemade vanilla cardamom syrup, which was delightful. We saw some bread being served and regretted our decision not to buy bread before leaving for our trip! Thank you, Owl Bakery, for creating such delicious food for the community to enjoy!
