Fatz Cafe Asheville

Used to be a go to place for us. Recent staff changes are less than spectacular. Cook got half the stuff wrong. Ordered beer battered fries loaded got regular fries loaded. They said they were no longer on the menu but did not want to take off the order even though it was not what we ordered, we should have at least been told in my opinion. Chicken tenders were pink so cook did not check temperature. I think the manager or owner got rid of his old crew and hired a bunch of teenagers which would not bother me if the restaurant owned the mistakes. I will say the servers were friendly but forgot little things like soup spoons etc. I blame the management for my issues not the staff. The cook needs training but it was busy I think he/she was doing best but pick chicken is a big no no.

Please don't get the chicken tenders. They don't change the frying oil as they should and that's why fried batter is dark. Well, and it was overcooked and just tasted old. Fries were cold and my husbands mashed potatoes were cold too.

Very bad experience they need more wait staff definitely. From the time we got there till the time we got our food we waited close to 4 and 1/2 hours. The only good thing was our waitresses. They were very pleasant and good at their work . People were getting up from their tables and leaving, now that was sad . They only had 2 cooks and I saw about 3 maybe 4 waitress and lots of people were waiting for a while or leaving, not only was the ones leaving that was waiting to be seated but also the ones that was seated were leaving. Worst experience EVER!!!!

Every time I go to the bar they're out of Liquor liquor never have anything To be honest, I believe it will be shut down under staff. It's not the staff Fault very poor broke down management I will never go back again

Slow service due to low staffing. The food was ok but not worth the money.
