Tres Garcias Mexican - Asheboro

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I have to say it was just perfect. First of all, we were greeted with a smile when we entered by who turned out to be our server. She was so kind and accommodating the whole time...kept the sweet tea and margaritas coming! This is an authentic, family owned Mexican restaurant with a laid back, casual, welcoming atmosphere. Our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner...the salsa was thick and fresh and the queso dip was hot and tasty. We tried the chicken enchiladas, the beef soft tacos, the shrimp quesadilla, and rice and beans. All were excellent...fresh shredded chicken and not too much red sauce, beef soft tacos were hot and filled to the brim, plentiful amount of hot grilled shrimp with peppers and onions, and even the rice was fluffy and beans were tasty. The owner came by and asked how everything was and made us feel right at home. Now that's what I call a great meal! Tres Garcias is our NEW FAVORITE! Thank you so much, Gloria.

Absolutely wonderful food and wonderful service! Made my vegetarian substitutions with no problem, definitely one of the best spots around!Vegetarian options: They have your normal assortment, but they allowed me to make substitutions to make other meals vegetarian friendly with ease!

The owner and staff are always so friendly. The actually recognize their repeat customers and get to know them. The Sopa Maya is amazing. I got it tonight since I wasn't feeling well and it hit the spot. Bright and flavorful, warm and comforting with a generous portion. Highly recommend it.Food: 5/5

Had lunch here today with a large party (19 people total). Food and service was amazing as always. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. You can never go wrong coming here to eat!
