Sams Diner - Ashcroft

Sam who is the owner, chef and sometimes waiter certainly knows how to prepare and cook good food. He has had loads of kitchen experience and apparently has a great following. Comfortable setting with stools at the counter and booths.

Ashcroft is a small 8 blocks long but don't let that fool you, Sams diner is perfectly Canadian and the gentlemen who served us was as hilarious as he was nice, the owner and chef who owns it is equally friendly, just arriving into Canada this was exactly what was needed and made us feel really integrated!The sausage hash was great!!

Very nice lunch. Well priced..within walking distance of our home. A fun owner and staff. Wish they were open for dinner.

Good food, no nonsense cafe, standard fare. Burgers and sandwiches with a few other options. Fries are real good!

A great place to eat in Ashcroft. Real good food and service. Has both Canadian cuisine and Chinese food. Open for breakfast and lunch but not for dinner. Closes around 3pm. Prices are very reasonable.Located on Ashcroft main street (Railway Ave.). Entrance from side of building. Lots of off street parking in adjacent parking lot.Doug.
