The crew takes care of anyone who has a great time and the curators have really tried to make special shows and unforgettable experiences. They often have a cured menu based on a film theme or brunch, with a variety of foods for every taste. You have a wide selection of beer, and if you want something harder, they also have it (as well as a small bar outside the viewing sections). They also have special screenings of old films, and really nothing beats to watch a classic such as Halloween or Christmas holidays on the big screen with props, good food and good drink. The seats are really comfortable, and it is a pleasure to see all old movie posters as you go to your theatre. Finally, they also have a rewarding program, so you can really hit this theater for the feeling of watching movies in the theatre as it was earlier.
The fun of movies in Alamo extends to the general atmosphere and novelty to be able to order food and beverages. Very few of the dishes exceed the quality of a typical fast food seller, but the males enjoy it independently. The old movie clips are fun getting there early and the endless? is fun as an appetizer and dessert.
What a great experience! I really enjoyed the unlimited popcorn and drinks. Our server, Ben, was wonderful and very patient with us, despite the busy crowd. I would definitely come back again! The seating was a bit tight, but overall comfortable.
I was in town for my brother's 50th birthday and we had a private show from The Woman King at this restaurant. We were able to decorate the stage and they even showed a personal slideshow of family photos, creating amazing memories. Outside the restaurant, they had a picture of my brother on the wall which was a really nice touch. The staff were very friendly and provided good service. It was clear that they had great love for my brother and his team, showing crazy love for him throughout our visit.
The experience was nice and the theater was clean. The seats are the standard movie theater seats with a bar top style table for you to eat on, so nothing too fancy. The food is all fast food style, typical theater food, so the only real difference was they had a server in the each auditorium so you don't have to wait on line to order. It's not cheap either. For a family of 4 to watch a movie and eat, expect to pay close to $150.
