Seahorse - Asbury Park

My friends and I had drinks, and we liked the atmosphere. Great music playlist! The bartenders and host were friendly and very accommodating.

We only stopped in for a drink each and guacamole with chips. The drinks were good, but skip the guacamole. It was $14 for a pile of beyond stale chips with a tiny cup of guacamole that was mediocre. The only high points were our server who was great and our drinks. Wish I saw the reviews before ordering food. I gave 1 star for the drinks and 1 for our waitress.

During our Labor Day weekend trip, my friends and I visited this restaurant. The food was delicious, but I found the portion sizes to be somewhat small. I ordered the seared tuna, which, while perfectly cooked and flavorful, didn’t seem to justify the price for just a few slices. I definitely left the meal still a bit hungry. Thankfully, the fries came in generous portions, and I was able to fill up on those from my friends' leftovers. One of my friends tried the buffalo cauliflower, which was fantastic and reminded us of buffalo chicken bites in both texture and taste. Our waiter was fun and friendly, though a bit cheeky when we inquired about our dessert, which took longer than expected to arrive.

First impression: The name has changed, but everything else remains the same. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the kitchen to catch up, even though the restaurant was less than half full, with empty tables in the front. After placing our order, we waited an additional 40 minutes for our food to arrive. When it finally did, the quality was mediocre at best. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was quite dry. My friend had the quesadilla, which was disappointingly thin. We also ordered fries for an additional $3, but the portion was very small (see the pictures). If you're really hungry, I recommend grabbing a pizza down the boardwalk instead. Don't waste your money here.

Bar and Grill located in the convention center. The food and drink menu is quite limited. There's seating available inside or overlooking the beach. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. There was an added charge of $3 for french fries with my meal. The server was friendly, though. In my opinion, if you're looking to save some money in Asbury, this is the spot for you.
