Applebee's Grill - Arvada

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The chicken I ordered was boiled and served cold. We also started with cheese sticks, but they seemed like they had only been microwaved for 30 seconds—they were still cold and not properly cooked. I definitely will not be returning to this place!

This Applebee's is our go-to spot when we don't feel like cooking. They have a wide variety of menu options, excellent execution, and friendly customer service. Overall, it's a great place for families.

Has become one of my favorite spots. We usually go in the afternoon/early evening. So far it's been pleasantly quiet every time we've been. The service has been excellent, even when the kitchen was short staffed last time we went, we got our orders in a timely fashion. The staff is attentive and friendly.

The service was sloooww! From greeting us at the door to taking our order. Even bringing out the food. The location was not busy by any means and I can totally understand if they were short staffed or something beyond control....However, this was so not the case!As well, it also seemed as if everything was watered down a bit. The salad dressing and the sodas and the food seemed one sided if that makes any sense.... like my husband's fries were freshly made and super hot while his ribs were just above room temperature. The cheese on my dish was particularly favored to for the most part; one side.Just a mention. Nothing to tragic or extreme.

Have gone to this Applebees several times, and Shawn on the night shift may be my favorite server at any restaurant I'm a regular at. Super attentive; restaurant is going through staffing hurdles like lots of these in the space. He always puts in effort at my tables and the tables I see him wait to give his guests a genuinely good experience. The food here is also well prepared, I haven't ever had a bad miss here, at the end of the day it's Applebee's, and making sure food is hot, portions are correct and order is accurate are at a high level the tenets the staff can influence. I like this location a lot!
