Mandarin Chef - Arun

Visited my friend in chichester and he recommended this as our take for the night. it's a little car from him, but he said it was worth it. it was really busy when we arrived, but the two girls on the front were fast, so the order took in no time. for 5 of us all a meal with rice/noodles it came to £50, but I was good for what we had. I said we were 20 minutes and could see the kitchen and there were many cooks and we got our food on time. they all liked to eat. I had bark meat in black bean sauce and the bark meat was nice and delicate. would recommend. fyi parking is on the road and it was busy so they had a few eejits gay parking or just pull out without looking, but we had a fabulous beer in the pub just on the road and parked there.

The food was perfectly cooked and was very fast, the chefs were very friendly and polite, when the food was handed over and the lad at the theke was very helpful when they were my order.

Not disturb, unless they want to wait over 2 hours! ordered in advance and when we arrived, had waited 45 minutes. crazy art to take care of their customers!

I ordered a mixed plate, ripen, huh curry and chips, chicken balls and a few other bits. when I got it home, the grilled toast and the wintons, the chips, the balls in the ground all fritted burt or boiled over. I returned to the shop and asked politely if they could remake it for me. the chef came to the counter and tried to tell me that there was nothing wrong with it. after a short exchange of words and abuse of the cook before a full load of people I have reclaimed my money and told him that after more than 30 years I would be a loyal customer to never use it again. he took the food and marched back to the kitchen. the nice girls behind the counter have refunded me and I left. No one could believe how he handled this and was just as shocked as I did. So I'll never use them again. pity, but they can't treat the customers like that.

Came here to get a takeaway for a Birthday Meal, unfortunately as it was on Monday Kam Too where we normally go was closed. Not a patch on Kam Too, we ordered Set Meal for 1 plus Chinese Curry with Chips (I prefer Chinese chips...than the chips from a fish and chip shop) the chips were like Steak Oven Fries and the curry tasted for much like packet food. Also spent over £15, Kam Too always throw in a complimentary bag of prawn crackers, nothing from the Mandarin Chef. At least I know I am still getting a fantastic deal and a tasty meal from Kam Too.
