Although the wait for the meal was long, it was worth it in the end.

Been here a number of times, has always been good, but last Friday 23 November, big disappointment. Fish was very thin and not very large, the portion of mushy peas was a tiny eggcup sized pot. At least plenty of chips made up for the lack of fish(asked for large chips), still, was expecting better Also, understand they have limited space, but standing out in the cold while you wait your number, not so good.

Definitely the best fish chips, anywhere. I have tride a quite a few . The cleanliness of the shop, the batter, is clear and batter is a nice clean golden colour, the chips are plentiful and tasty. I have not been paid to say this. I work with food, l just know, this establishment is the tops. The young girls at the front, are polite friendly I will be back ASP

Recently moved to area from London where we had plenty of choices for takeaway’s. However The Big Fry is one of the best fish chips takeaway I have experienced. Have used them several times and each time fish is fresh and well cooked with good portions of chips. Staff are young, always pleasant and very efficient.
