I wouldn't recommend it. there are so many other great gluten-free places on the island, skip this.
Unfortunately we tried to eat here today and were told that they have a separate area to do the GF-Tacos, but now they don't do and so they couldn't do anything bad. they also said that they marinate their pastor meat in the same sauce as other gluten products, so it is not only the question of the kitchen room. So we had to go because they said nothing is gluten-free now. not sure whether this is permanent or temporary.
They advertise gf, but have very limited options. for example are also labeled gf, but they are not because they use the same oil to cook products with gluten. both my daughter and I are gluten-free for zöliakie and besides an salad they have a gluten-free taco that could make them with a mais soft tortilla that was very bland. in the inner was unworn chicken, salad, a small amount avocado and some carrots shredded. it had no taste and it was very boring. very disappointing
Only a taco is really gluten-free. tacos al pastor otherwise I would go on. very nice.
I had a great experience at Lola Taqueria in Aruba last week (September 2021). I was craving a cheese quesadilla and asked if they could prepare me some using their homemade gluten free corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas. The waiter explained to me that the corn tortillas are small for the price of the quesadillas, so I asked if the kitchen could prepare me 2 for the price of 1 quesadilla on clean gluten free equipment. The waiter said he would talk to the chef before making any false promises (which I appreciated). The chef agreed and made me some very satisfying gluten free quesadillas. The chef also changed out the oil so I could have some gluten free tortilla chips with my guacamole. The food was delicious, the staff took my gluten allergy seriously and accommodated it, and I did not get sick at all (I am sensitive to cross contamination). They offer vegan options on the menu and all their tacos are made using the gluten free corn tortillas. The menu had GF items clearly marked, as well as vegan/nondairy items. My gluten-eating partner enjoyed the restaurant as much as I did. It was a lovely date night spot.
