The best Indian food I still had? We lived in Fremont, CA and we had delicious Indian food there until we checked this place! The only thing I wouldn't order again is salty Lassi, that's super salty I can finish. The rest is so yum
We always come to this restaurant because your food is just delicious! We try something different every time and have nothing to complain about. Your long islands are a must! Chicken Curry, Ashoka The Great, Garlic Naan, I'm sorry, forget the names of the dishes, hope you can identify them with the pictures. Enjoy! Update: The lamb on the Ashoka is just delicious!
You have a seat outside the sidewalk. Food is tasteful and fresh. Service is friendly, but need improvement.
A dozen or so tables are set for the outdoor dining and several heat lamps nearby to keep the customers comfortable. The buffet service is unavailable at this time. BTW their buffet prices for lunch and dinner prices are a great value for the number of hot dishes and desserts you can try, much better than ordering a la carte. The naan $1.49) and garlic naan $1.99) are cut into four pieces each and go well with the chicken tikka masala $10.99) and saag paneer $8.99). It contains a good amount of chicken in the tikka masala, and few cheese cubes in the saag paneer. I went with mild for the spice level and would love to try spicy/extra spicy levels next time. I would rate this below Saffron Indian Restaurant. Ashoka is more comparable to the nearby The Indian Restaurant, which offers a buffet service pre-covid) for a great price. The carryout a la carte dishes are not the same as experiencing these Indian buffets. Looking forward to returning here and few other Indian buffets in Little India.
