The fact that I would drive from Ohio to Taos, New Mexico just to eat at Lena and Abe's speaks volumes. The cherry and apple empanadas are beyond amazing. Lena and Olympia are wonderful hosts who make the dining experience warm and welcoming.
The breakfast burritos at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, and the staff are wonderful people.
The pork tamales with green chiles were better than I've had anywhere else. The prices are fair. Very low key and unpretentious. Next time I'm in Taos County, I'll go back to Abe's.
Food is made fresh. Very accommodating staff and delicious food.
