Escondite - Arona

As it’s English translation name suggests, this bar is tucked away. The hideaway as it is also known is a great place for a few Tapas or a couple of drinks. We used to call-in for gin and tonic‘s and it seems popular with locals which is a good sign. The owner is a very friendly man – great fun and very interesting. It is a little bit difficult to find but worthwhile and we used to enjoy pre-dinner drinks there most nights.

I don't review often, usually for exceptional food and service. However, found the restaurant, a few people drinking beer already. No one eating, no menus... No staff approached us... Left and ate elsewhere... 2nd July... Was kitchen closed? No option to give less than 1

Very cozy and friendly restaurant. The service it's fantabulous and very fast! The tapas I eat where amazing! If you wish to eat good tapas I recommend this place!

Best tapas we tried on island. Dates with bacon are amazing! Very friendly service, cosy like home, reasonable prices. Thank you! We will visit again.
