Ratskeller - Saalfeld/Saale

New restaurant was opened only a few weeks under the new chef. this restaurant was very recommended by some friends who had eaten here recently, and I was not disappointed that eating was very well cooked. there was no rush at all from the staff....Definite will come back at my next visit

The ratskeller in saalfeld is located in the historic ratshaus or rathaus. it is located in the vaulted cellar. we visited with our German friends on Wednesday night. it was well protected by the locals. our waitress was very kind to accept my stop-German, as I tried (unsuccessful) to order in German. the menu offers a good selection of excellent German foods. it is very expensive in the did it is excellent worth. the wine and beer list is good to supplement the eating. service was very good. this is a friendly restaurant in a beautiful part of Germany and worth a visit.

Three of us went to eat here last night. we had not booked, but they were very welcoming and sorting a table for us very fast. the waiter was nice and helpful. eating was good and the house red was very pleasant. a good place to eat.

Came to eat here, very nice atmosphere personal was efficient and friendly. we had head and desserts. the nets were really good, the desserts (Kissmarrn) were burned. for two courses lasted three hours! (we arrived at 19:15 o'clock and at 10:15 o'clock away) but if they are not in a hurry, I would recommend giving it a try.
