The ingredients seem to be from canned goods, not fresh and the chips were just ok . I prefer freshly made peppers, roasted and good flavors when it comes to tacos.. not so here. We then decided to order take out. The nachos were not very good. The cheese just stuck all the chips together and the flavor was off. Microwaved? The taco was so teeny-tiny, we couldn 't recognize it. Dried out meat and not worth the money. Stay in, make your own nachos and tacos. The decor is nice on the inside of the restaurant but we won 't return.
The food was delicious! Our server was friendly and efficient. The live music was awesome! This has become one of my favorite local spots
Such a cool place with separated restaurant and bar area!
Was excited to try a new restaurant but we didn't have the best experience here.Service was very slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty (in retrospect, probably should've been our first warning). We only met two employees, one waitress and one guy who seemed to pulling double duty between hosting and working in the kitchen. Both were great and very nice, but obviously stretched thin in the massive floor space, despite the very limited lunch crowd, maybe 5 tables incl us.After a very long wait, the waitress apologetically offered to bring us chips and salsa, which was much appreciated they were obviously trying to hurry the kitchen along as we received our food shortly afterward. Our entrees were good but not worth the wait honestly, the best part of the meal was the chips and salsa, which was pretty tasty. Carnitas were good, as were the beans and rice, but both fries and corn tortillas were soggy and limp.Given how many other Tex Mex/Mexican choices there are in the area, think it is unlikely we will be back. Bad days do happen and we appreciate the staff trying to make it right when they were short handed, but unfortunately not enough to make us reconsider.
What an interesting restaurant and bar. Stopped by today on a whim, decided to have some tacos. They have a great variety of different flavors but all tacos are served à la cart with the cheapest being $4.50. I'm sorry $4.50 a taco is a little high for this part of town. There are several restaurants I would be willing to spend that kind of money for a good taco made with a exotic seafood or specialized tender cut of beef. So rather than having to spend nearly 13 bucks on three tacos I decided to go for sandwich. As I said before an interesting restaurant with a focus on the bar more so than the restaurant. Limited menu and like I said before a little bit pricey for the atmosphere and what you get.
