This review is for the restaurant; I have never stayed at the Lodge, but I have dined at the restaurant multiple times. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy a delicious meal if you're in the area (the fish tacos are particularly amazing). If you're visiting Calaveras County, Bear Valley, or the Murphys-Arnold area, it's just a short drive up the pass. The food and drink selection is excellent, and I've been there on summer weekends, where there's always live music to enhance your dining experience. Located right across from the lake, it's the perfect choice whether you're spending the day by the water or just looking to enjoy the beautiful views along with great food!
