The Welder's Dog - Armidale

5/5 couldn't break this rod! so welcome and full of local knowledge for us who were outside the cities. so friendly and courteous and the wonderful selection of craft beer and gin!!! highly recommended they can even get their food delivered...from the pizzeria or the Thai restaurant close by as they have no food. a must try to visit armidale

We visited and shared 2 tasting paddles. there are some really different beers (and limonade,) to try not all my taste at the end, but this is the fun of tasting. from there we went on to enjoy some of the animals right. nice owner with good business.

What a great water hole. the concrete lies on local craftsmen, but they also have numerous spirits. they can also have DIY boards by selecting their own cheese, salami, oliven, dipping cracker (price based on the individual items selected) they put together. on the self serve placate. large ambiente with kamin, which was great in a cold night. the personal was beautiful.

It's the place to be in armidale. it is a little taste of the city (a bit funky like bars in newtown or paddington when they are from sydney.) it is relatiw small, but it has a beautiful atmosphere. they can't buy meals here, but they can byo. you often get pizza delivered directly to the bar. they also have live music regularly.

Loved it- would certainly recommend it, they have an amazing range of in house brews! Its a shame they dont offer a better range of food, only cheese and crackers!
