Bistro Terrace - Armamar

By chance... A very nice team and a very good menu. The number of dishes is indeed limited but very well cooked and creative . Very nice view, a number of seats limited. The opportunity to test the estate wines

The restaurant offers a splendid view to vineyards above Tedo river as well as delicious meals. The menu is short but the dishes are of highest quality and reasonably priced (14-16 euro). The wine served comes from the vine yards you’re looking at while eating! I recommend croquets of black sausage as a starter and mushrooms with a poached egg as a main. Great for a romantic dinner!

We happened upon this restaurant while touring around the Douro Valley. We were so glad we did! We were seated outside on the terrace and it was an outstanding experience. Our family felt as if we were seated on a private terrace as we had plenty of room to spread out and potted trees were situated between parties to provide privacy. The food was small plates but the waitress explained what was on the menu and we ordered enough for lunch. The staff also recommended wines to go with our meal that were quite delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant it was one of the best meals that we had in Portugal!

We ordered 4 meals Tagliatelle com camarao (2 portions) camarao Boavista Almondegas de carne. They all tasted amazing, very delicious.. But their portions were very little, and the basmati rice that came with the camaroa Boavista was very hard, it needed a bit more cooking. The price was a bit high as well.
