Pho An Heights Vietnamese

I want to start by saying that I adore Vietnamese cuisine and dislike writing negative reviews. One evening, I was at a friend's house and wanted to enjoy a delicious meal. Since they had never tried pho before, I looked up nearby options and came across some great reviews for Pho An. I ordered two different types of pho, but I felt embarrassed when we started to eat. I’ve never encountered such a unappetizing soup in my life. It seemed like the broth was made from rancid bones with no spices whatsoever. Perhaps it was just an off night or the regular chef was unavailable, but the experience was disappointing. I won’t be giving them another chance.

My kids always want to come here because they love the soup and the chips. I also really enjoy the pho, which has a milder spice level compared to typical Vietnamese pho. It has a generous amount of meat and noodles. The pajun and entrees are also quite good. However, the shrimp rolls could use a bit more filling. I actually have the same dumplings in my freezer at home.

This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food that has a unique twist. I highly recommend it, especially for families!
