Ma Ma House - Arlington Heights

Ordered the hot plate bibimbap, no eggs, with tofu, for $10. It was good, although I did not like the sauce that was given as a side and didn’t add it to my plate. Also, the tofu was served raw and unseasoned. It would taste much better if more was done with it. I would say the rice was the standout ingredient. It was delicious. I would order again, but ask for additional customization next time.

Very sweet business owners! Been eatting here for years because of the wonderful food and wonderful people. If you're in the area, you should definitely check them out and the entire Mitsuwa marketplace!

Weirdly, Korean food is hard to find downtown because they usually run Japanese, pan-Asian, or American-style restaurants, so this is a nice option. The bulgogi and bibimbap are good, and a change of pace if you're already in Mitsuwa and want to try something different. I'll take this over a lot of Chinese places--it's not greasy or syrupy.

Whenever I go to Mitsuwa I head straight to Ma Ma House to eat it is so delicious more people should eat there and the owner is so sweet she makes my day whenever I see her.
