Have dined here since it open... sad to see it will be closing

We are sad to see this place close. This has been a fantastic restaurant, but due to the lack of horse gamblers nowadays it seems like people are less frequenting this restaurant. Fortunately, the staff is transferring to the Oakbrook location and for those who did not they were given good severance.

They are closing in a week so I didn 't think I would write a review but I was disappointed for the first time. I always give glowing reviews of this place. Don 't go if you want to have one last meal there before they close. It may ruin your experiences there for good. I was disappointed. The wait staff didn 't want to be there and couldn 't answer any questions with anything but I don 't know, I don 't normally work here . The food was average at best and this place is always top notch. Sorry to see it go. . . but disappointed in how they are obviously in a hurry to get out and didn 't put the same care they normally do into things.

So sad to hear this location is closing. We went for our favorite of pot roast nachos and burgers. Who ever heard of pot roast nachos? But they are delicious. Burger was great. Restaurant is old school. Quiet, soothing, low lighting, great for conversation without hearing your neighbor. Acoustics are great for keeping bar noise contained. Service is always excellent.

Great Thanksgiving Dinner with the family. Great value and great food although I would have liked to be able to order items from the regular menu as well.
