Walk-on’s Sports Bistreaux

I don’t know who said this food was good. Maybe we all ordered the wrong thing, or maybe they lied. You can tell this restaurant put money into the screens, strong internet connection, and their overhead.The food is very, very basic. I know it’s a sports bar, and I know people are going to yell, but it’s my fault I was in the backseat got out-voted. The service was good, they did the best they could with the noise, but this food is just not it.If you’re a sports fan, then I’m sure it’s great, but if you wanna just try the food, lower your expectations to your feet.

I want to thank Fred J for the great service he provided for our dinner Wednesday night… we always worry about getting good service anywhere nowadays but he went above and beyond to make us have a great dinner… thank you Fred!!

D amonte is an amazing server. Food was great. He recommended a few drinks to our table and they were spot on. We had a few questions about the menu and he was able to answer them and give some recommendations as well with the food. Food came out in a timely fashion. Have been here quite a few times and have never had any issues.

Our visit at lunch time was very middle of the road to say the least. We ordered the lemon butter chicken and chicken avocado wrap. The chicken on both was pretty dry unfortunately. The fries we got were seasoned well, though. The kids meals we ordered as well were definitely less than stellar. A grilled cheese was stacked with 4 slices of cheese which would 've been fine, but they weren 't anywhere close to melted through. Also, the kids alfredo and the lemon butter chicken both stated they came with garlic bread, but wasn 't present when the food arrived. We were informed there would be a $0.40 upcharge to receive it as they had a menu update . That would 've been fine had we been informed of that.We 'll try this place again in the future, but perhaps at dinner time when they 're busier and might be more on their A game.

The food was great, the atmosphere was excellent the restaurant was clean and well maintained and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress, however, could use some work. She started off okay but after we'd gotten our food, we became an afterthought. Glasses set empty, drinks weren't refilled, and we had to stack our plates ourselves. The restaurant wasn't packed. It was early. She was more interested in the table next to ours.
