They have a great outdoor seating area as well and are very dog friendly. I saw one reviewer call this a hole in the wall, far from that. A very enjoyable place to visit. All of that said, let me go back to these pretzels, they come in several different flavors/varieties, but they are hot, fresh and HUGE. Bigger than a diner plate and can feed several people as an appetizer. The beer selection stays updated and not boring. They have an expansive beer menu to keep anyone happy. We had no problem finding either a German favorite or an IPA depending on the mood. My wife and I both had the Bronson Reuben which were outstanding. The sandwich is large and will not leave you hungry.
Delicious food and great service. Lots of space and I love that you can order at the table. Great beer selection!
Place is good. It gets so loud at peak hours though, seating can be a bit of a headache, service is average for the most part, good draft selection, plenty of tvs. Food is nothing to boast about but it's not bad. Haven't tried the cocktails, definitely gets the North Arlington crowd and not a traditional beer hall vibe but that's to be expected. If it was quieter and had better seating I'd give it 5 stars
I love the pierogi's! The sauerkraut is sour and complements the pierogi perfectly. The waiter with the suspenders seemed to be enjoying himself and that's always nice.
The pretzels are amazing! Much better than expected and also much larger. We're talking larger than a medium pizza at most places. The schnitzel was really good when fresh but I lagged eating it and it became less awesome. That's my fault though. Beer selection is decent and there's plenty of hard spirits. I only have two minor complaints; it's way hot and humid and it's very hard to hear people even at your own table.
