Pupatella - Arlington

This is a small restaurant with limited parking, so we parked at Safeway and walked over. The pizza here is fantastic. We tried the margherita pizza and the eggplant parm pizza. The eggplant parm pizza would have been even better if they had added some mozzarella cheese.

I have never tasted pizza as authentic as the one I tried at this Italian restaurant. The pizza crust was cooked in a real fire oven, giving it a delicious charred flavor, and it was topped with fresh ingredients. These pizzas were not like the typical salty, greasy, and dry ones you find at other places. They were baked to perfection with simple yet perfectly seasoned fresh and juicy ingredients. I recommend eating them in the restaurant rather than getting them delivered, as they are so delicately made. They also have a great selection of wines and I loved the Italian atmosphere inside the restaurant. I will definitely be returning to try all of their pizzas!

This restaurant serves the most authentic Italian pizza I have tasted in the area. The crust is charred by a real firepit and topped with fresh ingredients. These pizzas are not your typical salty, greasy, and dry ones. They are baked to perfection with simple but well-seasoned and juicy ingredients. The pizzas taste even better when dining in, as they are delicately baked. They offer a good selection of wines and I enjoyed the Italian vibe in the dining area.

The pizza was excellent. We shared two appetizers and ended up with plenty to take home. The wine pairings were great as well. The dining area was comfortable and spacious. The staff was knowledgeable about the pizza ingredients, demonstrating their expertise in their product.

The initial impression of the exterior decor was impressive. The addition of a yellow Fiat as a mascot was a nice touch. However, the quality of their pizza did not meet the same standard as their decor. The Margherita pizza was decent, but the truffle mushroom pizza was disappointing. The mushrooms seemed old and had a strong vinegary taste that was off-putting. Additionally, the mushrooms were quite slimy. The scent of truffle oil was overpowering, and the cream sauce was overly salty, resulting in a very salty overall pizza. It seems that the pizza I selected may not have been their best option.
