O'malley's Pub - Arlington

During our initial visits, a well-organized staff member efficiently managed the bar, hosted guests, served food, and tended to five tables—all while frequently visiting us to ensure excellent service. On the third night, three staff members were on duty but struggled to keep pace with a similar number of patrons. Our server only came by twice to take our order and deliver our food; she did not return to check on our experience or offer drink refills. I had to catch her attention to ask for steak knives and sauce. The other staff members appeared to be focused on cleaning, and the manager only stepped out briefly. Overall, while it's a convenient spot for dining, those looking for more options may want to head to 23rd Street, where there's a whole block of restaurants to choose from.

I decided to stop by late during happy hour and ordered two appetizers: the spicy zip and the chicken tacos, each priced at just $5. To my surprise, the portions were quite generous, making each dish substantial on its own (though I wouldn’t recommend relying solely on appetizers for a full meal). I also enjoyed a $5 old fashioned, which hit the spot. The bar service was prompt and friendly, and the staff were all really cool. Honestly, even if you're not staying at the hotel, it's worth a visit, but it’s an absolute must-try happy hour if you are!

Situated less than five minutes from Reagan Airport within the Holiday Inn, I stopped by for a quick meal and drink. The parking deck made access convenient with the elevator. Tracy at the front desk was incredibly helpful! We received our food promptly. We tried the Old Bay wings and crab dip, and both were tasty. The mixed drinks were enjoyable, and the beer selection was decent. Next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely check out the burgers that the table next to us was raving about.

When we arrived, our reservation hadn't been found, and they had to shift another party to accommodate us. Our waiter forgot to take the order for one member of our group and didn’t return for quite a while. We also had to request water refills, and the wait for those was lengthy.

Make sure to try the macaroni and cheese! The addition of truffle oil was absolutely amazing.
