Ihop - Arlington

The food was cooked perfectly and served hot. I also received all of the utensils needed for my meal.

The order did not come with butter and only had (2) syrup packets for a full stack of pancakes to complete the meal. However, the food was hot and fresh.

This is my go-to breakfast spot... it never disappoints!

A friend and I visited this special IHOP on a Friday night. That was my first time. The waitress we had was amazing. I wish I remembered her name. Somehow there was an older, Hispanic waitress who spoke with her staff inextricably, but it was nothing of our business. A group of young men came in, torn. Of course the waiters noticed. I had it on my heart to pay for the detergent because it just seemed like doing the right thing until my friend mentioned the older waitress above “they people” with a collective, racial undertone. I made a decision to talk to the manager who initially seemed disgusting and confused. She thanked me for speaking, but I didn't feel it would appeal to the next employee meeting or something. I think it's safe to say that I'll never dine on this particular institution again. I feel that the behaviour is pardoned because it spoke loudly and freely about how it felt to customers. So I can't spend my dollars knowingly where people like me are not respected.
