(as in bishop arts original location old favorites. we sat immediately and, while they were busy, there were many tables available. they had a sign that the terrace was closed because they were short workers, but they want to sit outside when it was over 100 degrees! the dining room is a large open room so there was a lot of background noise. it was hard to talk so I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic evening or a business meeting. but it was lively and busy and this is good to see after what covid has done to the industry. my wife started with a margarita. they don't make happy hour, but the price was reasonable and it was very strong. they don't care about the alcohol. She said it was good, but she couldn't finish it since she drove. I love the pupusa, so I ordered them for an appetizer. there are three to one order and they can get cheese, pigs or a mix. I thought I remembered they were about 3-4 inches in diameter. what we got were three big saucer size pupusas. (See the picture I uploaded. they were as good as I remembered, but we couldn't eat much by coming to the store, so we brought them home for another day. my wife had the spinat enchiladas. they came with tears and bored. she likes spinat enchiladas so she ordered the one amount and said that this was very good. she could only eat about half of them (big portion, so she has another food for this weekend! I had the cheese chile relleno with tears and buzzing. I always order chili rellenos when I get a chance. this was good and my only suggestion for an improvement was that he would have cooked more. a part of the pfeffer was still very crispy, which I didn't care. our waitress was very good, although she was very busy. the chips were good, the black bon dive was as good as ever and the hot sauce deserved this name. pretty sharp, but it should be. overall we are glad that we have gone and that gloria has made it through the pandemic and still served great food.
The rain poured and we found our way to gloria in the highlands. the service was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious. I had a Chilean relleno with bark meat and my date had the pollen assado combo. we had a nice time. our waiter made sure that our water is set off and we appreciate it.
When we first went to the restaurant, the hostess greeted us with a smile. we had the chips and salsa before we order our lunch. the chips were warm and the bons were hot. then we ordered the chicken frogs that were crispy and hot. they really came out quickly; they were absolutely delicious. our waitress greeted us with a smile and she was friendly and polite. she also checked us a few times during our meal, then she refilled my drink twice. I would recommend you try this restaurant because the good food and the friendly people.
When I entered for the vaterday and took my vater, we were greeted with a smile and inviting at the door, our food was very well prepared, I ordered the grilled chicken, our waitress new the menu and answered all our asking.
Went with my mother in law on a Saturday, was very busy, however the server we had served us in a timely manner. I had the A La Mexicana and just about finished my plate, it was spicy and flavorful, IN MY OPINION, I’d give the spice level a 3.8 out of 5. I left there full but light, where I didn’t feel groggy. (If you know what I mean) and she had the Carne Flameada that plate as well was devoured! We will definitely be back!
