Not all restaurants are the same. the richardson and Garland shops are excellent, but the Arlington shop served medium rare black barbecue and combination fried rice with zero taste. independent of my experience, the restaurant was packed and was occupied by many happy patrons. I guess my luck with a lot of food was on this day. later on the same day we saw 60 mph winds.
We met up with friends here for dinner while we were visiting from San Antonio. The menu was a bit hard to decipher as a vegan since I don't eat any meat or animal products. But the waitress did help me out to order a tofu dish that did not have meat in it. Everything is served family style here so big plates of food and then a big plate of rice and everyone just has a little of everything. It was very good! I just wish there was a bit more explanation about which dishes are vegetarian/vegan.
We had a party of 8 and we ordered beef flat noodle, seafood flat noodle, crispy noodle with bbq pork and wonton noodle soup with duck bbq pork. are large (family style) and everything was delicious! our waitress took care of us and eating came out quickly. it's just cash, so be prepared. there are several signs say cash only in front of the cash.
Service was okay. Since we show up when the dinner rush is about to be over. There was not much roast pork, roast duck or BBQ pork. We got a little of each. The fish was good and since it?s market price, it was pricey. The sweet and sour was okay.
