Epic Smokehouse - Arlington

Big server, but eating was excessively disappointing. good classic wein, but ribeye was bland, 2 people got the brisket and it was excessively dry and too much salt. the jambalaya is on the ground.

Food was fair, but courses overlapped which dulled the experience a little.

This was our first experience at Epic and it was a delight. We enjoyed being seated promptly for our reservation. Our server was pleasant and made our experience that much better. The next time we're in the area we will dine here again.

At lunch … got the prime rib … cooked medium (including a side of mashed potatoes) and ordered a side of creamed spinach, plus black coffee for the beverage. The smoked prime rib exceeded expectations, with savory perfection enhanced by drinking coffee … although it still would have been awesome without the coffee. In the future, I might experiment with going medium rare, and maybe having a bourbon either before or after the coffee. The sides were absolutely delicious, although a bit heavier than expected — not a complaint at all, since it meant eating less on the spot and having some to take home for dinner. Service was perfect. Looking forward to taking friends family in the future.

Great restaurant. Highly recommended. Will gladly go back when we are in the area.
