Bozzelli's Italian Deli-crystal City

I absolutely adore Bozzeli's pizza. It's flawless, from the crust to the cheese and sauce, to the toppings. The only downside is that the nearest location is a bit too distant from my home, so by the time the delivery arrives, it's no longer piping hot. Nevertheless, it remains the top pizza spot in Arlington. Their subs are fantastic as well!

I found this restaurant to be a bit overhyped. It's a charming family-owned place that I really enjoyed. When I asked the cashier for the best-selling sandwiches, she recommended the chicken Parmesan and meatball. I opted for the chicken Parmesan and was impressed by the quick service - my sandwich was ready in less than 5 minutes, even though she had estimated 7. The caramel cookie she recommended was delicious. However, I found the chicken to be a bit hard and dry, possibly overcooked. It had good flavor, but the thin, tough chicken made it hard to enjoy. The cookie was also on the hard side, which was a bit disappointing. I took my food to go, but there is outdoor seating available for those who prefer to dine in. Overall, with some adjustments to the cooking time and more sauce, the chicken Parmesan could have been excellent.

This is a small deli that serves delicious wings, subs, and pizzas. There is metered street parking nearby and a parking garage next door. They offer the option to order ahead, which I suggest doing. Inside, you will find a few refrigerators stocked with drinks and pre-packaged sides. They also sell alcoholic beverages. There are a couple of tables on the patio outside where you can enjoy your meal. The staff working the counter was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Boom Boom Chicken Pizza, which was ready in about 10 minutes and was simply delicious. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back. I highly recommend checking out this place and hope to return soon.

Recently visited DC in August in Remembrance of my grandmother and this local eatery was walking distance from my hotel. I saw advertisements in our hotel room and thought, why not. So, on a 5minute stroll we, made it. Its a small spot but very busy. While looking over the menu, atleast 3 or 4 uber eats drivers did order pickups. The inside is fairly small but they have about 5tables with chairs. We got a bottle of wine to take back to the hotel and had a couple of spritzers with our food.. our food was really delish!! The butter garlicky wings and the artesian style pizza was definitely a winner. I definitely recommend n should we take at the particular hotel on my next visit ,cause I gotta come bac, I will absolutely be eating here, again.. N although they were very busy, they still explained menu items, welcomed US to the city and gave suggestions on places to go.

Great subs! We grabbed a Metro Italian sub on the way to the airport on our last day in Virginia. Dang! Why didn't I try this place sooner?! It was busy but worth the squeeze. I would've preferred just a little more meat on the sub for the price, but still a delicious sandwich. I highly recommend this little place for quick to-go bites or to take back to your hotel room and enjoy in peace. The BBQ chips were great too! I noticed they are made in VA so I will miss them:
