Delicate & Saine - Arles

We went here by chance on a Saturday evening. Only one other table was occupied so we were a little hesitant but we liked the look of the menu and the fantastic location. I had the prawns with zucchini tagliatelle, more Asian inspired than French, delicious none the less. Partner had bruchetta with black olive tempanade - also very good. My understanding is they don't really have kitchen, so everything is prepared with minimal amount of hot cooking in the preparations. No matter, a terrific place for a light meal and a good wine. The house rose we ordered went perfectly with the food. I would say this is a great value for price option in Arles. We tried gooing back on a Tuesday, but alas they were closed so we had to go elswhere.

The new owner this past year, Guillaume, is a sommelier. He is passionate about using good quality local produce, and the results show on the plate & in the mouth. Try the zucchini tagliatelle ( thinly sliced courgette/zucchini in lovely light dressing) with prawns on lemon slices ( be brave & eat the prawn & lemon slice together, a fabulous flavour that sings in the mouth). The local wines are carefully chosen & I have been back twice more. The chocolate dessert deserves special mention, perfectly cooked on the outside but oozing in the centre when the spoon dips in.

Face aux arènes ne bougez pas ce petit restaurant aux tapas frais Méditerranéen​; je vous conseille( l assiette terre et mer). De très bon assaisonnement. Un accueil chaleureux; avec une jolie demoiselle au service. N hésitez pas à y aller entre amis ou seul vous ne serez pas deçu.

Deux superbes visites en soirée et au déjeuner ! Des produits de qualité de la tomate cerise à la charcuterie. Un super cadre et un excellent moment. C'est petit et très sympa. Pour ceux qui aime les choses simples mais de qualité un prix très correct propose les produits servis à l'achat pour les gourmands qui voudraient emmener un souvenir à la maison ! Et le patron est très sympa !!!! Je recommande !
