Loch Fyne Oyster Cairndow - Argyll Bute

The service at this restaurant was terrible - the staff were unfriendly and rude. We visited a year ago and ordered mussels to go, but when we tried to do the same this time, we were told that they only serve oysters. The people working that day were ignorant and had a bad attitude. It's a shame that they think so highly of themselves when they work in a simple shack on a lake. We will not be returning and they could definitely benefit from some customer service training.

My experience at Loch Fyne for lunch was excellent. The oysters, half lobster, chowder, and fish cake were all well-prepared. The service was good and I would definitely return for lunch in the future.

I went to this restaurant last week and ordered the fish supper. It was nothing remarkable except for the high price - £20 for each fish and chips dish. My usual fish and chip shop serves better quality food at a lower price, with excellent taste. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same experience at Loch Fyne. I will definitely not be returning.

Disappointed and sorry I bothered going to the Oyster bar service was dreadful, the female head waitress has a really bad attitude, her abruptness when asked If they did seafood platters was rude beyond belief, the food Itself Is vastly overpriced... my local fish and chip shop do a far better job...looking at what was on offer re It 's takeaway that 's no better.

Wow!! What a fantastic find. Promised ourselves we would stop off for oysters here as they are famous the world over and they did not disappoint. Presented beautifully, with different options for people that don’t want to do them au natural , and the staff were really lovely and really looked after us. Worth a visit
