Hawthorn Cottage - Argyll Bute

I went to the restaurant with a family of six adults and everyone agreed this was an exceptional experience. The food could not be faulted and the hostess was brilliant at making everyone feel at home. The angel fish was to die for and the apple crumble was delicious. We will be back on our next trip to Tralee Bay.

So good we went twice in our weeks stay in Oban. Not the largest menu but some interesting dishes along with some classics. Really friendly and un-rushed. Tenderest gammon I have evere eaten. The quality of the food is to die for. You will not be disappointed.

A 5 star experience. A very friendly family run restaurant. Menu had enough choices for my very fussy husband. The quality and quantity of the food was amazing.

Great food. Very friendly staff. It was a rainy evening and they stayed open specially for me. I was so grateful for the delicious veggie burger, salad , chips and beer. And delicious sticky toffee pud. Right next to the great Seaview Caravan Park.

I live locally and have not been to the Hawthorn for a number of years but went tonight with family and had a fantastic meal and outstanding service, it was an absolute pleasure to visit and eat there highly recommended.
