Fishnish Food - Argyll Bute

We went here after checking out tripadvisor which has a couple of great reviews. We dropped in straight from the ferry to Craignure, en route to Tobermory. We had 4 x acceptable breakfast rolls, and slightly disappointing coffees, these set us up for the morning in Mull. It’s a nice little setup by the Fishnish ferry, and was an ok choice.

Warm friendly greeting and tasty rolls on sausage. Mine was potato scone egg yummy. Followed by tea and homemade rocky road.

Delightfully friendly service. Freshly cooked breakfast rolls. No food lying cold and reheated here! Good value and ideal for a snack or feed before the ferry across to Lochaline.

Whilst having a lazy week on the Isle of Mull my wife and i went to Tobermory for the day and whilst there decided to eat in the Fishnish. I chose fish and chips and my wife, their mussels in white wine. Our order arrived and I was soon tucking into some of the best fish and chips I've eaten, light crispy batter, crunchy but fluffy chips. My wife was eating her way through what was clearly some fantastic mussels going by her reaction, what more could we ask for?? A young French couple next to us and ordered the seafood platter, WOW. Food envy wasn't in it. It was then that we decided to make a return visit a few nights later despite the hours round trip. And wow was it worth it. My advice to all is, if you're ever on the Isle of Mull and visit Tobermory then to top the trip off, get yourselves into Fishnish. You'll not regret it.

Absolutely wonderful and delicious food. We were lucky to get a table as it is very popular and not a big place. The staff were delightful.
