Bumbershoot Barbecue - Argyle

I would rate them a 5, but I can't call ahead for reservations, and all seating is outdoors. So, the 4-star rating is solely based on the food. My favorite item on the menu is the loaded tots.

I mentioned that the place looks fantastic, but it's unfortunate that it's always closed whenever we visit.

It may not seem like much from the outside, just a small, unassuming place. However, I ordered their barbecue plate, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The barbecue was fantastic!

When I arrived, it seemed like the restaurant had permanently closed. The setup was nice, and I really wished I could have tried the BBQ. However, I'm giving it five stars because I had the chance to sit there alone, enjoying some peace and quiet away from family, and that experience is definitely worth five stars!

This place is a great concept but the food is not great. For the price, you can go have a much better experience somewhere else. I think there is way better bbq options right here in the same old town not 2 miles away. Plus this place is rarely open. All of the restaurants in the Earls family have been slipping. I'm preying they backed out of the new burger place they are rumored to be opening across the street.
