Kawartha Slices - Argle

When you stop by Fenlon Falls you must get some Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream from this place.

We discovered this gem on our way home from the cottage. The selection and quality of the baked goods is outstanding - and very reasonable prices. The pizza crust is light and delicious. The owners are welcoming and the atmosphere is friendly.

We took out pizza, pastries and bread. They were all good. Too bad we could not eat in... They also have many items to purchase like jams, snacks and gifts.

This place is just 10 minutes from my cottage so I thought I'd give it a whirl. For a pizza place, amongst other foods, in the middle of nowhere - their pizza is top notch.for other meals - haven't tried them yet, they have beef, whole chicken dinners. It is a great place to pick up a whole dinner when getting to the cottage late in the evening. They can take orders over the phone, so you can pick up on the way through.This weekend, they are pre-cooking 4 pizzas that we can prepare during a large family day gathering.

Phoned ahead (705-374-1414) for a take-out pizza. Ordered a large "Deluxe" with Pepperoni, Green Peppers, and Mushrooms.Pizza was HUGE! And, had generous toppings. All-in with HST was $25.It was delicious!Owned & operated by Aya & Hedy Edwards, they are very friendly, and provide efficient and quality service to the customer.Would definitely buy another pizza, again.God Bless
