This year we were delighted to find it has opened again and although with different people the vibe is the same . Loved it and cannot wait to go back and see how they are getting on.
We had walked by the restaurant on one of of village sojourns but it was closed at the time. Checked the hours and loved the message: Midi et Soir. So when it was my day to cook lunch we thought we 'd try something new. We were pleasantly surprised. D-L had the five different tapas plate, including shrimp, duck, grilled aubergine, pain con tomate, and grilled local vegetables, and she savored it all. I had the salad de montagne, which featured a mildly spicy sausage, chorizo, serrano ham, and pine nuts; very tasty. It was the warmest day yet this spring, so we sat outside, and were delighted to learn that the artwork for the painted tabletops was done by a local artist friend of ours. From inside, we could hear light jazz playing, and when I went in to pay noticed a Miles Davis album, as well as a Beatles poster on the wall.

New accommodating owners just set back from the main town known as the village. Locals eat here. Locally sourced food and wines. More like eating with a family than a tourist or fancy restaurant. Excellent food. Wide ranging menus. Great atmosphere. Great value!
It was hard choosing which of the long list of tapas to make up my 20 Euro plate, but I did and everyone was great although my favorites were the magret de canard and the aubergine. I loved the original painted tables outside (first really spring day) painted by Marco, a local artist capturing the spirit of Catalonia.
