The menu is divided into two main sections which represent the philosophy of the restaurant, that is, a journey through tastes. The left side contains local and Italian foods and specialties while the right side, which is broader in scope, ranges across Europe but also the Middle East and beyond. We had a traveller's appetizer which contains a cornucopia of goodness such as arancini, mozzarella in carrozza, falafel, Tuscan crostini, giardiniera, cold cuts and cheeses. Everything excellent. We continued with some Spatzle and then continued with a delicious Mussaka. In short, a real journey through flavors excellently accompanied by the hosts who filled it with stories and anecdotes. Also not to be missed is the Delirium Tremens beer with the related story of Andrea the young assistant chef (or as Shady called him my Minimè . Finally, do-it-yourself cannoli (stuffed and decorated by yourself with Shady's company and some Croquenbouche (puffs filled with cream and covered in chocolate to eat with your hands! I would also add that the menu is seasonal to ensure the freshness of the products. In short, excellent food and excellent hosts (it will be like dining with friends . If you come to Arezzo you can't miss it. Paola and Nicola from Turin
An incredible welcome from the brothers Shady and Tamer who entertain with their story and with the colorful but professional descriptions of all the dishes, from the most typical and local to the most exotic. In fact, the main feature of the restaurant is its menu or rather its two menus, the typical Tuscan one (but which can still have intrusions of recipes from the whole peninsula and which still presents revisitations or details that are always very apt) and the ethnic one which presents various dishes from the countries surrounding the Mediterranean as if to retrace the journey Shady and Tamer from Palestine to the Maremma. The passion for good food is tangible and the involvement reaches its peak if you take the Sicilian cannoli because you will have to fill it yourself with what you like most (under the supervision of Tamer). The variety of dishes is ensured by the seasonality of the menu (every 2 months). Good selection of beers and wines with Tamer always ready to propose and give advice based on the dishes chosen, both on drinks and on the large choice of oils. The layout of the place is also very nice with only one flaw that can be resolved quickly: the lighting is well designed but is characterized by a cold-white color that clashes with the welcoming decor. Edit: I went back recently and they changed the lighting rendering making the environment warmer and more welcoming: excellent! I confirm all the qualities already described, it is definitely a place to visit more than I do myself!!!
Definitely one of the best places to eat with friends and colleagues. Very unique decor, and quite refined. The kitchen is GREAT. The quality is fully rewarded..... This restaurant will definitely remain one of the best restaurants I have visited, surrounded by hilarious company! Advised.
After walking around the city a bit looking for a free restaurant, we came across this one after searching on TripAdvisor. We found a place because some customers didn't show up. Friendly welcome and great attention to the customer. Unusual and specific menu for the occasion. Entertainment with music and games. Free panettone. Spending for New Year's Eve 55 euros. Lots of joy and kindness. Very pleasant environment. We will definitely be back.
On the contrary, air-conditioned place, penguins under the tables, temperature 17/18 degrees. Salty, cold dishes. Non-existent wine list, sold out. Bring glasses of wine with you. Unnerving wait. Entrance at 8.30pm, it 's 11.21pm and we 're still waiting for dessert. The ethnic music in the club sucks. Believe me, I won 't set foot there again.
