Los Guisos Arequipenos - Arequipa

A shrine to understand Carlos our server today. We shared a beautiful family dinner and we baked a Guagua (traditional bread) only in November. It was a nice surprise.

Space has been on the good side so far, but it is now more on the bad side. We asked for Almuerzo a noodle soup with big potatoes and a piece of meat. We left the noodles and the potatoes because they were just too much. A second serving was beans served with rice. You don't really have many vegetarian options. Even when it was empty, the service was slow.

Most food was okay. I had a salad, he had no taste at all. Extremely limited healthy/ vegetic options. Attention was ok, but waiters could help a little more with healthier options from the menu.

The food is fantastic, very tasteful, lot of locals come here, which is a good sign. Soltero de queso and rocoto relleno are some of the delicious food I ate here.

Try lunch in this place, better on weekends. Perfect to go with your whole family. This is one of the best places for local food. You would probably get a chance to have a drink with the owner, funny lady. The price is kind of...reasonable. I like it.
