Lechonera Don Omar - Arecibo

My husband and I, 2 small children only had a feast of delicate pork with Queen and Aroz con gandules, bloodworm, yuca y platano!! We ate until we were stuffed and then the “ate on the cake”.. 2 mini fans. The food here was excellent in all conceivable ways. Nothing to complain, everything was well cooked and tasty. Absolutely glad we stopped here!!

Great food with great prices. Pig meat was tender and delicious! The arroz con gandules tasted like at home. Very recommended place for island food!

I'm not a pig man, but if you taste the pig and the blood sausage here, you'll rediscover your taste and you'll feel a taste explosion. Just super taste. Small place, not tasty, cheap, but if you are looking for delicious food and genuine Puerto Rican food this is the place!! I was in Guavate in La Ruta del Lechon the experience here in Lechonera Don Omar is much better and they are super friendly. No soy muy fan al puerco, pero el lechon aqui es una explosion de sabores en tu boca me recuerda la comida en casa de mi tio en el campo en Cuba. Si de verdad estas buscando comer lechon asado en Puerto Rico, aqui encontraras Todo el sabor... Realmente brutal, mucho mejor que en las lechoneras de Guavate. I was in many places here in Puerto Rico and I recommend this place when you 're going from San Juan to Aguadilla, this is the place you stop and get something to eat. Mind Blowing!!!!

You won't regret getting the Batata! Lechon is divine!
