Shake Shack First National Building Downtown Detroit

Although it might not be the best burger I've ever had, it reliably provides a satisfying experience. The quality is solid as well. The only real drawback I've encountered is that the bun was a bit off-center on the burger, but that's a pretty minor concern!

The food here is consistently excellent! Although there’s room for improvement in terms of attention to detail and the way the burgers are assembled, I'm not too concerned about it. The standout aspect of our visit was definitely Leroy. He was busy clearing tables, helping customers with the kiosks, answering questions, and even offered to get us napkins and straws. He managed all his tasks with such grace and a friendly demeanor! He was attentive without being overbearing and certainly not grumpy. He brought us napkins and water, and out of kindness, he even treated my toddler to a complimentary ice cream. I've rarely experienced such outstanding service anywhere else. Customer service in Philadelphia can often be a letdown, but Leroy's service was truly exceptional. We are big fans of Leroy!

Have you ever experienced that disappointing moment when you order a meal, only to find that it doesn't live up to the cost? I've visited many Shake Shacks before and typically enjoy my experience, but the one in Ardmore, PA didn’t meet those expectations. I can only rate it 2 stars. The burger was dry and didn't have the hot and juicy texture I usually look forward to. My strawberry shake was also disappointing; it was thin and watery rather than the thick shake you expect to be able to stand a straw in. Overall, it fell short of the high standards I have for Shake Shack. On a brighter note, the fries were good enough to warrant two stars.

I recommend steering clear of online orders at this location. My mobile order took over 40 minutes longer than the estimated completion time, and it felt like it had just been sitting around. The food was not hot, and the milkshakes were entirely melted.

The Shroom burger, topped with pickles, onions, and cherry peppers (without any sauce), was hands down the best vegetarian mushroom burger I've ever had at a restaurant! If you're a meat lover, the Smoke Shack is an excellent option. The staff at this location were quick, friendly, and very efficient.
