We spoke to the host in English but he refused and spoke only Italian even though we don't know.. He claims that it is Italy that we will learn Italian and if we want we can also learn Chinese. I then left the restaurant, terrible service!! Beyond that, everything looked unclean!!
Not the best of decorations, even if Chinese themed, but the food is good. It's a good place for a quick Chinese meal, but not for special occasions I would say, because it's not really inviting and cosy.
This restaurant was rated so high, that we were quite confident when we went there last night to order. Upon arriving it was apparent the restaurant was neglected in terms of care. Disorderly and messy, it was a bit off-putting but none the less we were excited to try the food. We ordered our food to go, and while we waited we awkwardly listened to the husband yell at the wife as they prepared our food in the kitchen. Still hopeful for a delicious experience, we waited. When we received our sushi (4 rolls) and our friend rice (pollo), we were fiercely disappointed. Firstly, the owner barely wrapped the sushi rolls. Falling apart before we could even grab them with our chopsticks. The rainbow roll we ordered was clearly filled with fried shrimp that had definitely been cooked earlier in the day as it was harshly stale. Both our tempura fried roll and others we ordered were sloppily thrown together. Our fried rice was sparse of actual chicken, and heavily littered with stale corn pieces. I’m not one to comment negatively on a family owned restaurant, as I’d hate to effect the source of their income. However, this is the single worst Asian restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. This is coming from someone who lives in the desert in the middle of the US, where fresh fish isn’t always available. I don’t think this was a one off, where the owners were having a bad day and we just got gross food. Perhaps COVID has affected their revenue, so the freshness of their products have been impacted? Either way, there’s some SERIOUS room for improvement. Until their quality increases, I would not waste your money here. Also, they awkwardly have naked women photo lighters on their front counter where you enter restaurant. Do NOT bring family here as they’re oblivious to what’s morally appropriate for where families may go. I’d be mortified if my 9 year old daughter had been with us.
We visited this Chinese restaurant (rather central in the small village of Arco) for lunch choosing from the “all you can eat” menu. Very simple interiors, basic service but clean. We mainly ordered fish/seafood and frankly speaking all that we got was tasty and apparently with a certain quality considering the price we paid for. Having been so many times to the Far East, I will rate this restaurant “mixed” Asian ... neither specifically Chinese nor Japanese.
The restaurant is located in the heart of the city centre and just below the castle. Their all-you-can-eat menu covers both Chinese and Japanese cousine, and where it doesn't shine in variety or originality, it totally makes up in flavour. Special mention for the service: the service is family run and the girl serving the table is really nice.
