Le Lion d'Or - Arcins

Visited to lunch while on a wine tasting tour this place is a bit a jewel. blackboards show the menu with a good selection of starters and nets that vary depending on the season. our waiter spoke English helpful about the menu. fortunately return to our next visit in the region.

I was eager to repeat at dinner the excellent experience I had last year when I came here for a superb lunch. Perhaps I was a bit late in the evening, or on an off day, but the confit de canard was not really of...the highest quality. Otherwise, I enjoyed my other courses, the wine, and the ambiance. I will come back next time, but I suspect the lunch when the restaurant is full is probably a better meal here than the dinner.

This was definitely in the top five for our meals in France.

Absolutely wonderful! But bring your French! Very little English is spoken here! I had the pre-fixe menu and it was superb! Stewed chicken and pasta.

I had a delightful lunch today ordering the prix fixe menu item of the day for 18 Euros.
