Cabo Grill - Archdale

Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and requested a table for 5. This is the peek of our positive experience. We were taken to a booth for 4 and the waitress turned and walked away. I located the waitress and kindly asked for an appropriate sized table for 5 and she said she didn't know why she attempted to sit us at the booth. The service was especially slow and I made several visits to the waitress area as the waitress frequently laughingly admitted she forgot this that and the other. Drinks left unfilled, chips missing, no silverware, etc. There were only 3 tables in use so this wasn't their busy time. The food was average and the waitstaff kind but inattentive. When the guest check arrived, there was a 5% surcharge for using a debit card and the management would not honor our valid coupon. This wasn't a pleasant first experience and there isn't incentive for us to return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

So for starters I ordered the Colorado burrito, I specifically said I would be at the restaurant before 1:30 so it would be ready since I am on lunch break. I arrived at the store and food still wasn’t ready at 1:40. After I did get my food and pay, the meat is dry somehow even though it seemed to be marinated and cooked in some kinda of sweet sauce (which was disgusting) I couldn’t even finish my meal. The chips and salsa aren’t bad but the salsa taste more like tomato soup than salsa. I will not be coming back here. Off and on customer. The food is good, best chips and salsa I've had at a sit down Mexican restaurant. The staff is really hit or miss though. I've had orders be wrong, prices wrong, slow service, but I've also had perfectly fine service. It seems to be a roll of the dice, hope they sort it out.
